I’m still trying to fully recover from the illness which I had last week so this training update consists of exactly zero training! Poor me!
Besides going to work, my regime in preparation for the 10k is currently lots of rest, lots of moaning to Stacey, my girlfriend, and the consumption of lots of the following:
Not to mention the consumption of lots of Pizza on Monday (On top of my illness I was late home from work because of traffic so it’s fine right!?). I think Liverpool losing to Leicester City that evening was punishment enough for me!
All in all a pretty unsuccessful week in preparing for my fundraising event – leaving me feeling pretty grumpy and sorry for myself!
I’m very much looking forward to getting back into my training again and fingers crossed I’ll have a training update blog which includes some actual training next week!
On the plus side though, I am thrilled with how my fundraising is going and I’ve now nearly reached the £500.00 mark thanks to all of the amazing people who have donated to my page: http://uk.virginmoneygiving.com/RobEarl
I am so grateful and moved by all of the support that I have received so far and I want to keep my fundraising climbing as far as possible until 29th May (race day).
